- NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) intends to award a purchase order for the repair of4 Each, 3 inch 4500# Edward Globe Valves, which are currently in use at KSC. The repairwill include: 1) necessary labor, equipment and mileage to travel to KSC and remove thevalves from the line, and transport to the repair facility, 2)labor, equipment, supplies,material, supervision and overhead to cut seal weld on the valves,disassemble/clean/inspect/perform standard repair, pack with Garlock FEP1303, hydro to1.5 times the class rating, document the as-found condition and all repairs, plus testresults. 3)clean to KSC-C-123H, level 1000 and 4)necessary labor, equipment and mileageto travel to KSC and return valves to the line.-----The purpose of this requirement is toprovide NASA KSC with potential, interested, competitive sources for this repair------Firms having the required specialized capabilities in part or in all of the aboverequirements should submit a capability statement of a single page documenting theirability and past experience in performing similar efforts as described above.
