- Presolicitation / DOL110RP20946 Presolicitation Notice DEPARTMENT OF LABOR PRESOLICITATION NOTICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION SERVICES INTRODUCTION The Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Performance and Technology (PROTECH), is releasing a presolicitation notice of the DOL, PROTECH's Statement of Work (SOW) for Information Technology (IT) Security and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Services solicitation. PURPOSE OF SPECIAL NOTICE PROTECH is extending the opportunity to review and comment on the proposed IT / C&A Services solicitation for the DOL solicitation to be issued. Comments received will be treated confidentially but will be accumulated and will assist DOL in preparing its final solicitation. Comments only, will be summarized and subsequently posted to include the Government's position relative to the comment(s) received. DESCRIPTION OF INFORMATION REQUESTED For this procurement, it has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) Program. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. All 8(a) Small-Business companies actively seeking business opportunities as defined by NAICS Code 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services, size standard: $25.0 M, are invited to provide comments and/or suggestions relative to the proposed solicitation document. Comments submitted need to identify: •1. The solicitation clause number •2. Your comment or suggestion relative to the clause identified, •3. Statement of Work comments or suggestions; and •4. Any recommended solution, if applicable, for the comment made. DISCLAIMER This solicitation specification document is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. No formal solicitation exists. This release does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals or a Request for Quotations. At this time DOL is not looking for proposals and will return if possible, any submittal that has the qualities of a proposal, offer or bid. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice and may provide their submittal anonymously to ensure privacy. Suggestions and comments received may or may not be subsequently included in the final solicitation to be issued. This proposed Statement of Work may not be the final Statement of Work when the solicitation is issued.
