- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting a modular metal finishing line to be used for aluminum cleaning and the chromate treatment of aluminum materials. The procurement includes installation and testing of the new equipment and is in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUCW) Division Keyport Code 321. The proposed solicitation will result in a Fixed Firm Price commercial supply type contract with delivery required by 18 August 2010. This requirement is being issued as a solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quote (RFQ) N00253-10-T-0145 is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Federal Circulars 2005-32 are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333298. This solicitation will be posted on 27 April 2010. The closing date will be 07 May 2010. This requirement is FOB destination with inspection and acceptance by the government. Requirements are listed in the attached solicitation. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing after receipt of solicitation, no later than 04 May 2010.
