- NSNs 6140014904316, 6140014905372, and 6140014938092 are being solicited for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) and the FOB point is Destination. Multiple awards may be made for NSN 6140014904316. The NSNs are procured in accordance with competitive technical data. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. Items will be shipped to various CONUS and OCONUS DLA Stock locations. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small businesses, and the small business standard is 500 employees. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date May 11, 2010. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. A written offer is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified, DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. Technical drawings/bid sets are available from DSCC-VTS via the internet at the above web site (the bid sets are indicated by an icon beside the NSN on the solicitation list) or https://pcf1.bsm.dla.mil/cfolders/. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation. NOTE: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
