Description
Item 0001: NSN: 4920-01-187-2952RN, Part Number FR216D0200-1, Test Adapter Kit. The test adapter kit is used with Universal External Fuel Tank Certifier (UEFTC) to certify external fuel tanks for the F-15, F-16, A-7, and FB-111 aircrafts. The kit simulates all external fuel tank functions of the various aircraft being tested. The kit allows for proper operation, functional checkout, and fault isolation of the 600-gallon external fuel tanks. First Article testing will be required of all sources that have not supplied this item within the last 36 months. First Article Test Requirement to become part of production quantity. Requirement is for 1 ea First Article plus data (Test Plan and Test Inspection Report) associated with the First Article in the basic year, with one additional Option of 1 to 3 Ea; Options may be exercised for AF (Air Force) or FMS (Foreign Military Sales) requirements. Place of delivery for First Article: FE5284. First Article is due 30 days ARO Approval of Test Inspection Report; Test procedure is due 90 days ARO contract; Test Inspection Report is due 240 days ARO contract. Delivery of options is 240 days after exercise of option. Location to be determined. Solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 13 May 2010, with response due 14 June 2010. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The RFP will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. The technical data required to respond to the RFP will also be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included.
