- RECOVERY-Replace SidewalksConstruction Services for Project #570-09-141 Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Consolidated Contracting will be issuing a Request for Proposal for a General Construction Contractor for a construction project to Replace Sidewalks at the VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E. Clinton Ave., Fresno, California. Work shall include sidewalk improvements, underground drainage pipe improvements, installation of an "all weather" canopy system, and other concrete work. This Request for Proposal will be a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Offers will only be accepted from qualified SDVO Small Businesses. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about May 10, 2010. The solicitation will contain proposal instructions. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Project Site Visit will be held on/about May 17, 2010 at the Fresno facility. Exact date/time and location will be published in the solicitation. This conference is highly recommended. Estimated project cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. Questions regarding the solicitation must be sent in writing to denise.groves@va.gov.
