- The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for Medical Transportation Services (Taxi, Wheelchair Van and Litter) for the Harry S. Truman Memorial VA Medical Center, 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, MO. The NAICS code is 485991 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Services require contractor to furnish all the labor, equipment, and vehicles necessary to provide transportation services to beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/yr in accordance with the solicitation terms and conditions. Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with option to renew four (4) additional one year periods. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Factors, Past Performance and Price in accordance with the evaluation criteria identified in the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about April 26, 2010. Due date for receipt of offers is May 26, 2010, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is July 26, 2010.
