Specifications: Steamtown NHS is looking to purchase a quantity of 920 new 7'x9'x8'6" AREMA grade 5 crossties and 140 new 7'x9'x9' AREMA grade switch timbers. 4 new # 8 Turn Out AREMA Grade Switch Ties 57 pcs set. All ties are oak and mixed hardwoods, creosote pressure treaded and 100% end plated. Ties are to meet the standards of (AREMA) American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association specification. Price is to include all necessary freight costs for delivery to Scranton, Pa. No local or state taxes apply. Shipping is to National Park Service Steamtown NHS 150 South Washington Ave. Scranton; Pa. Hour of receiving is 6 am. To 1130 am. Tuesday thru Friday. All loads are to have Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with delivery. Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer to the Government.
