- Work includes but is not limited to: The design and construction of on-site, in ground septic system(s) to serve the existing facilities at the Swan Lake NWR. This solicitation will result in submittal of proposals as Step 1 of a 2 Step process. The government will offer a Step 2 Task Order to the offeror whose proposal results in the best value as determined by the Fish and Wildlife Service. Award will be made to the offeror whose propsoal is (1) technically acceptable and (2) technical/cost relationship is the most advantageous to the government. Construction of septic systems is regulated by State Law in Missouri. A list of licensed installers in Chariton County will be included with the solicitation documents. Since the existing lift station is currently only running on one pump, timely award of this contract is important. The Period of Performance is 50 calendar days. Statement of Magnitude: $25,000 - $100,000 NAICS: 237110 This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 Million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about May 11, 2010 with proposals due on or about June 8, 2010. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination.
