- RECOVERY DESCRIPTION: The intent of this project is to repair of log and stone CCC-era NRHP properties including the picnic shelter, comfort stations #1, #2 and #3, caretakers cabin and associated garage, cistern buildings, well house, museum building and interior exhibits, VIS building. Repair activities may include but not be limited to: replacing structural logs, treatment of logs for powder-post beetles, staining logs, roof repairs i.e. sheathing, flashing, and shingling, using threaded steel rods to secure logs that are separating or have separated, window replacement, window glazing, replacement of siding, repairing and cleaning stonework and repairing or replacing foundations. PPOJECT LOCATION: From Eagle River, Wisconsin, take State Highway 70 east approximately 9 miles to Forest Road 2178 (Military Road). Take Military Road south for approximately 3 miles to Forest Road 2181 (Butternut Lake Road). Take Butternut Lake Road approximately 6 miles to Franklin Lake Campground. Set a-side determination will be made at time of solicitation Posting. Recovery: This project is funded in whole by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). ALL VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT, HTTP:://WWW.CCR.GOV
