- The work to be performed includes the following: 1. Furnish and install three single-phase, generator step-up (GSU) power transformers; 2. Remove and dispose four existing single-phase GSU power transformers; 3. Furnish and install replacement insulated conductors; 4. Furnish and install jumper and rigid buses and accessories; 5. Remove and dispose existing insulated conductors; 6. Remove and dispose existing jumper and rigid buses and accessories. The work is located at Boysen Powerplant, approximately 20 miles south of Thermopolis, Wyoming in Fremont County. Award will be made to the offeror submitting a proposal which conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government considering the non-cost and cost factors being evaluated. The technical factors and subfactors to be evaluated are as follows: (1) Proposed Equipment, (2) Installation Plan and Schedule, (3) Company Experience, (4) Key Personnel, (5) Past Performance, (6) Safety and (7) Socioeconomic Goals. The solicitation will be issued on or around April 15, 2010. The Price and Technical Proposals will be due approximately 30 calendar days from the date the solicitation has been issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237130. The small business size standard is $33.5 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted.
