- ****The pre-bid meeting for Hornell concrete repairs will take place at the Almond Lake office on May 6, 2010 at 1230hrs.**** Address for pre-bid meeting: Almond Lake 690 State Rt 21 Hornell, N.Y. 14843 Z--Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to provide concrete repairs at the Hornell LFPP in Hornell, NY. Period of Performance shall be beginning 17 May 2010 through 18 September 2010 (contractor is to begin work 10 days after issuance of award and to be completed 60 days from there of). All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit prior to submittal of bid. This visual inspection will more than likely have an effect on the way prospective bidders will prepare their estimate for the work to be performed. This requirement NAICS is 238990 and the size standard is $14.0 million. It is currently set-aside for small businesses only. This requirement must be provided in strict accordance with the statement of work included in the request for quotation bid package. Only those vendors who can provide the requirement EXACTLY as stated in the specifications may provide a quote. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors; you must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to receive a government contract award. Bids can be submitted via e-mail or mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, 10 South Howard Street, 7th floor, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530. Available thru Federal Business Opportunities System (https://www.fbo.gov/index) The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 26 April 2010, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System (https://www.fbo.gov/index).
