- NSN: 1005-01-459-0734 PN: 12012081 Noun: Buttstock, Sliding Set Aside: 100% Total Small Business FOB is Origin Requirements: Buttstock Sliding is used on M4/M4A1. Matl is plastic compound. Approximately 6.50 inches in length. This solicitation will result in a three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 36,300 each with a maximum contract quantity of 400,000 each. The solicitation will be issued on or around 25 May 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. Bidders are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all bidders are required to execute a nondisclosure agreement binding each bidder to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation when the solicitation is issued on the web. An official authorized to legally bind the company must sign the nondisclosure agreement. Upon execution of the nondisclosure agreement, it must be returned to Miss Mary Beth Lease by email mary.e.lease@us.army.mil or fax (309) 782-3813. Upon receipt of the signed nondisclosure agreement, the technical data will be made available to you through FBO. First Article Testing will be a requirement of the solicitation. It is anticipated that the award of this acquisition will be based on price alone. See Section L and Section M of the solicitation, once posted, for additional information. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of it.
