Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. NECO webpage alternative if the FBO website is unavailable. The items being purchased will be manufactured in accordance with Government Drawing Packages. These drawings will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors must be registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the package. This is a synopsis for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. This solicitation will be issued as Request For Proposal (RFP) number N00164-10-R-JQ47. This is 100%set-aside for small business Size standard is 500. The solicitation will be a Five Year, Firm Fixed Price with Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity for Modified Pivot & Adjustment Shelf Assemblies as follows: CLIN 0001New Pivot & Adjustment Shelf Assemblies.The contractor shall provide the Modified Pivot and Adjustment Shelf. The contractor may utilize one of the two production methods. The first method is to manufacture and provide the Modified Pivot and Adjustment Shelf in accordance with drawings 85000749 (and all sub-assembly drawings 5009555J). The second method is to purchase the AN/AVS-9 Pivot and Adjustment Shelf Assembly (NSN 58-01-381-6036 or 5855-01-565-8109) and modify per drawing 85000749. Offeror will identify the production method to be used to obtain the end item. The total number of units will not exceed the maximum of 3,000 units. The minimum contract quantity is 1,000 and the maximum quantity is 3,000. CLIN 0002Modify GFP, Pivot & Adjustment Shelf.Modify GFP, Pivot and Adjustment Shelf Assembly IAW Drawing(s) 85000749 Pivot and Adjustment Shelf Assembly; 85000748 Shelf Assembly; 85000761 Eccentric Shaft Modification; 85000762 Shelf Modification. The minimum contract quantity is 0 and the maximum quantity is 7,000. Initial delivery of units will be 90 days after issuance of a delivery order. Delivery required F.O.B.
