- UTB UNDERWATER SPECS SPV83 ADDITIONAL CLAUSES FEEBOARD SPECS SF1449-UTB41407 FLEET GENERAL REQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals shall be valid for a minimum of 60 days. The desired start date for the performance of this order is on or before 23 June - 07 July 2010. The place of performance is at US Coast Guard Base Terminal Island, Base Support Unit (BSU) San Pedro, 1001 S. Seaside Avenue, San Pedro, CA 90731-0208. This requirement is set aside for small business with a NAICS code 336611. The request for quote (RFQ) reference number is HSCG37-10-Q-6SPV83 (attached). The objective of this requirement is to purchase a service for small boat preservation and painting. In particular, line item# 1. Provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to waterjet and preserve the underwater body of the UTB 41407 in accordance with attached specifications; quantity: 1 pg. Line item # 2. Provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to waterjet and preserve the freeboard of UTB 41407 in accordance with attached specifications; quantity: 1 pg. Line item # 3. Provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to prepare and paint the gray deck surfaces of the fiberglass cabintop of the UTB 41407 in accorance with attached specifications; quantity: 1 pg. All applicable general requirements and specification documents are attached. The contractor shall perform work as defined in the attached technical specifications. Quotes will be evaluated based on a "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" basis. The Walsh-Healy ract Public Contract Act applies ti this solicitation. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2005-37.
