- This requirement is for the overhaul/remanufacture of the B-1Bungee Assemblies. The assets are to be overhauled/remanufactured andreturned in a serviceable, like new condition. The contract shallprovide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, parts, transportation,etc. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The contract period is anticipated to be one year with four one-yearoptions. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 12 May 2010 closing 11June 2010. PR number is FD2030-10-27095. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
