- Solicitation SF1449 Silver Stripping and Plating PWS dated 1 April 2010 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6. The solicitation number is FA8224-10-R-0025 and it is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government contemplates award of one firm-fixed-price (FFP) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from this solicitation. This RFP is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 332813 with a size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is for the procurement of Silver Stripping and Silver Plating services on components of Air Force weapon systems. See attached PWS dated 1 April 2010 for full specifications and requirements. Please, disregard attachment A of solicitation SF 1449. Contractor shall provide FFP rates for each item for all ordering periods. Ordering periods are as follows: Ordering Period 1: 1 July 2010 - 30 June 2011 Ordering Period 2: 1 July 2011 - 30 June 2012 Ordering Period 3: 1 July 2012 - 30 June 2013 Ordering Period 4: 1 July 2013 - 30 June 2014 Ordering Period 5: 1 July 2014 - 30 June 2015 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: The contract is expected to be awarded on or about, 30 June 2010 and will include issuance of one task order. Offerors are advised to review 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors and 52.212-2 Evaluation, in solicitation for instructions and evaluation criteria. Emailed proposal are preferred.
