- Description
- This is a notice of sole source intent by the US Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District, to contract with Polu Kai Services, LLC. The project involves: Indefinite-Delivery type Contract to provide a full range of Environmental, Base Support Services and Sustainment Restoration and Modernization Support (SRM) to customers of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The environmental and base support services consist of environmental compliance, environmental restoration, environmental conservation, pollution prevention, safety and industrial hygiene, quality assurance, facilities maintenance, inspection and base support. SRM not only consists of construction, inspection, repair and maintenance, but also incorporating performance measurements and life-cycle cost analysis in business decision-making, improving program management by placing renewed emphasis on facility maintenance, using performance measurements to improve accountability; using a facilities condition metric that provides an objective indication of facility readiness, and eliminating excess facilities through the Base Closure and Realignment process. The services required by this contract will be performed primarily in the Southeastern United States but may be utilized wherever a Mobile District mission exists throughout CONUS.
