- NOTICE OF INTENT - Brand Name Justification for Informatica Software maintenance renewal for DITE The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a purchase order for commercial items. We will be issuing an order to DLT Solutions, LLC. This purchase order will be made under the Authority of FAR Part 11.105 and FAR Part 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. The IRS is purchasing (1) 1 QTY Software Maintenance for Informatica. PowerCenter 7 Repository Base 64-bit Production Standard Renewal Maintenance. (2) 8 QTY PowerCenter 7 (8-15) per CPU UNIX Production Enterprise Renewal Maintenance. (3) QTY 1 PowerExchange for Flat Files - Batch Option - (1-3 Servers) per Server Production Standard Renewal Maintenance. (4) QTY 1 PowerCenter Connect for SAP R/3 (Platform 8) 32-bit UNIX Production Standard Renewal Maintenance. (5) QTY 1 PowerCenter 7 Repository Base 64-bit Production Standard Renewal Maintenance. (6) QTY 8 PowerCenter 7 (8-15) per CPU UNIX Production enterprise Renewal Maintenance. (7) QTY 1 PowerExchange for Flat Files - Batch Option - (1-3 Servers) per Server Production Standard Renewal Maintenance. (8) QTY 1 PowerCenter Connect for SAP R/3 (Platform 8) 32-bit UNIX Production. Period of Performance: 5/01/2010 thru 4/30/2011 (Base Year) with Three (1 year option years for software maintenance). Informatica software is the only brand that can satisfy the Development, Integration, and Test Environment (DITE) project’s testing and development needs. Informatica software has been in place and is essential to the performance of the network in the DITE. Changing software configurations would have a major impact on the performance of the network, learning curve, and could potentially jeopardize the timelines for critical milestones to be achieved. The purchase order will be fulfilled by one contractor. Solicitation Number is Q-0-QU-3C-ES-C05 000. Award will be made on or before May 1, 2010.
