Description
Request for Information (RFI)/ Sources Sought inquiry into your organization's interest in providing compensation and pension exams for Veterans living in and around the Denver metro area and surrounding counties. The VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Office has an urgent requirement for a contractor to perform examinations to support claims processing for Veterans who have filed a claim for disability compensation or pension benefits. The contractor shall provide the full range of medical disability examinations for the following areas: musculoskeletal; organs of sense; infectious, immune, and nutritional deficiencies; respiratory; cardiovascular; digestive; genitourinary; gynecological and breast; hematologic and lymphatic; skin; endocrine; neurologic; mental disorders; dental and oral examinations. Contractor shall have the capability to meet all contractual requirements within 45 days of contract award and shall be mobilized to perform examinations in the following counties: Adams, Alamosa, Arapahoe, Baca, Bent, Boulder, Chaffee, Cheyenne, Clear Creek, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Elbert, Freemont, Gilpin, Grand, Huerfano, Jefferson, Kit Carson, Kiowa, Lake, Lincoln, Mineral, Morgan, Otero, Park, Prowers, Pueblo, Rio Grande, Saguache, Summit, Teller, Washington, Yuma. All examinations shall be performed in accordance with VHA Handbook 1601E.01. Dependent upon responses, the proposed contract award priority shall be to Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses then Small Businesses. The period of performance for this contract shall be six months, with a six month option to extend services. The contract is estimated to begin July 15, 2010. Again, this is only an inquiry, no quote or proposal is requested at this time.
