- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for Xerox D250G Maintenance.The specifications are: Onsite Maintenance Contractor must provide onsite maintenance of equipment. Technician shall return servicephone calls within 2 hours of a request for service. For calls made before 10am, same dayresponse is required from the technician. Next day service is required for calls made after 10pm. Return equipment to servicewithin 4 hours of service call unless maintenance requires parts to be ordered. A supplyof standard replacement parts and supply items shall be available for immediate return toservice. The technician must also be able to provide maintenance service on Xerox 700machine and other XEROX products in the Reproduction facility. Supplies and Monthly counts On the XEROX DG250 color copier we pay the Xerox charge per copy. The color charge percopy is.094300 cents, and black and white is.013700. We average approximately 20,000color copies and 50,000 black and white copies per month. The selected contractor must beable to provide supplies and services to meet the above printing averages and provideextra supplies for months that may require a higher copy count. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation,which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and awritten solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQsystem to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may beaccessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The informationrequired by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than May 2, 2010. Quotes/Proposals are due no later than May 12, 2010. It is thequoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, theon-line RFQ and amendments (if any).
