Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-39 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100408. NAICS is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees; FSC code is 5821. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following: C-Band Airborne Transmitter. This is a digital airborne telemetry transmitter. It transmits data from a system under test in the specified radio frequency band (C-Band). It will be used on an aircraft platform that needs to transmit data to the ground. Minimum Salient Characteristics: 1. C-Band Airborne Transmitter Minimum Salient Characteristics: Frequency Tuning - 4400-5150MHz. Tuning range may be split into Band 1 and Band 2: Band 1 - 4400-4900MHz Band 2 - 5091-5150MHz Input Power - +28VDC @ 5A max RF Output Power - 5W minimum across tuning range Size - 6 to 15 cu. in. Modulation Modes - IRIG-106 compliant PCM/FM, SOQPSK-TG, ARTM CPM (optional) Serial Interface - IRIG-106 App N compliant Quantity: 1 Note: The Government intends to make as many awards to as many contractors as limited funding will allow. Evaluation criteria will be technically acceptable lowest price. Technical acceptability will be based on the contractor's ability to conform to the minimum salient characteristics. The Government also intends to establish a Qualified Products List (QPL) IAW FAR 9.200. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH FAR 52.204-7 CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AND DFARS 252.204-7004, ALTERNATE A.
