- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to solicit, on a full and open competition after exclusion of sources a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for four (4 each) Airborne Digital Data Recorder Systemruggedized for airborne environment. Each System consists of two major sub-systems, an airborne recording system and a ground-based data downloading system. Each airborne recording system will include a digital recording unit and a removable media module. Each ground-based data downloading system must be compatible with the recorder's removable media modules and will include a rack mountable hardware with docking station for the removable media modules. A solicitation with a detailed list of requirements will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 05/17/2010. The solicitation will close on or about 06/01/2010. Delivery will be FOB Destination 120 days after award. Award is anticipated on or about 09/28/2010. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ).
