- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Force Training Department has a requirement for one (1) CTP 2056-DC Chassis, two (2)CTP2000-IM-8P-T1, one (1) CTP2000-PWR-DC-R, and one (1) SSG-550M-SH-DC. The Government intends to award a sole-source purchase order through an authorized Juniper Networks Value Added Reseller who is also certified as a small business. It has been determined that Juniper Networks, a large company, is the manufacturer of these products with proprietary data rights to all equipment within their network CTP. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-souce basis in accordance with the staturory authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(c). In accordance with the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Government Contracting Nonmanufacturer Rule, Class Waiver in Effect as of March 11,2010, the NAICS code of 334210 falls withing this class waiver. This waiver permits small businesses to provide any domestic firm's product, FAR part 19.502-2(c). The anticipated date for release for the solicitation N6339410T5011 will be on or around 27 April 2010 via Fedbizips and NECO websites. The deadline for submitting a quote will be 7 calendar days after the release date of the Request for Quotes (RFQ). After the release of the solicitation, any responsible source having the technical capabilities to meet the requirements described may submit a quote via email to: marlena.warren@navy.mil.
