- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION HOT-MIX BITUMINOUS/TACK COAT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-38. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ# hotmix-496ABS-001. In accordance with the Agreement of Defense and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the United States of America, any contract resulting from this notice/solicitation can only be entered into with companies authorized to carry out these activities in Spain under Spanish law. Companies must meet the requirements established by Spanish legistation for execution of Government works. In addition, in accordance with the Office of Defense Cooperation Policy Directive 400- 5 "(4) Spanish material, labor, and equipment must be used if permitted by the requirements of the contract specifications." The NAICS code for this requirement is 324121 (Asphalt Paving Mixture and Block Manufacturing). This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commodity: 0001 - 150 Tons - Hot-Mix Bituminous coat, type S-12 (AC16surf 35/50 S) as per Article 542 of Document Pliego de Prescripciones Técnicas Generales Para Obras de Carreteras y Puentes (PG-3) with limestone sand, bitumen, including manufacturing, and transportation to Morón AB in scheduled 4 Ton increments. Deliveries shall be coordinated through Maintenance Engineering on a day-by-day basis, with an estimation of two 4ton deliveries per day of work, and not the total amount at the same time. (Mezcla bituminosa en caliente, tipo S-12 (AC16surf 35/50 S) según artículo 542 del documento Pliego de Prescripciones Técnicas Generales Para Obras de Carreteras y Puentes (PG-3) con áridos calizos, betún, incluso fabricación y transporte a la base de Morón en descargas programadas de 4 toneladas.
