- Road Maintenance Drawing #2 Road Maintenance Drawing Photos Units 1-8 Vicinity Maps and Units 1-10 Maps Appendix D Road Specifications South Bend Fuels Solicitation Solicitation Number: AG-0489-S-10-0456 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: RECOVERY– South Bend Fuels Description: RECOVERY - THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. This purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation number AG-0489-S-10-0456 on or about April 23, 2010, for South Bend Fuels tree felling on the Deschutes National Forest; located in Deschutes County, Oregon. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. When the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 23, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION – The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services on 478 acres of the Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District for: (1) mechanized tree felling; (2) skidding; and limbing, bucking and decking of sawtimber; (3) removal of landing slash from National Forest Lands; and (4) whip-felling. PARTICIPATION: This acquisition is determined to be 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The size standard is $17.5 Million. The solicitation with specifications and Service Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
