This procurement is for NSN: 5310-01-490-7461; P/N 12469495 with only one (1) Approved manufacturing source [Litens Automotive Partnership (L8732)], and distributed exclusively by AM General (34623). This item is coded "1-B - Source Control", and solicitation is being issued on an "Unrestricted" basis (see below). This solicitation requests offers on a "STOCK" basis only, and will contain a guaranteed minimum of 10%. Award of a fixed-price, with economic price adjustment contract, is contemplated. The proposed contract is for a two year base, and contains an option to extend the term of the contract for three (3) additional years, on a yearly basis. Expected delivery is 200 days. This acquisition is "Unrestricted". Trade Agreement Certificate, applies. The BSM Computer System only accepts a unit price including two decimal places, so offers must be provided in accordance with this requirement. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is November 5, 2010. During the award evaluation process, Contractor's Past Performance will be more important than price. NSN: 5310-01-490-7461 DOES NOT have Surge & Sustainment requirements. Inspection/Acceptance/FOB wil be at DESTINATION, to any destination within the Continental United States, and the District of Colombia, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
