- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Thomasville Furniture Industries for whole room BEQ furniture in support of Naval Support Facility, Combined Bachelor Housing Diego Garcia. This synopsis is issued for open market items not on GSA Schedule: 94 each of computer work station, 94 each of a book case hutch, and 94 each of custom desk chairs. All open market furniture must match and interchange with Thomasville Industries Whole Room Furniture Systems. The solicitation will be posted to GSA eBuy on or about 29 April 2010.Delivery date is anticipated to be approximately 8-10 weeks after receipt of contract. All BEQ furniture is required to be shipped to and installed at Bachelor Housing, Diego Garcia. Inspection and acceptance is FOB Origin, Diego Garcia. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors. The solicitation will be issued on or about 29 April 2010 with a closing date of approximately 21 May 2010. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to GSA eBuy web site: https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advgsa/advantage/login/eBuyLogin.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes under solicitation number N00406-10-T-1536. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. The Government will not accept offerors from the NECO website; the Government will accept bids only from authorized GSA Schedule holders. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The Solicitation will be issued as sole source to Thomasville Industries. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site.
