- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The services will encompass developing attack scenarios and solutions at the strategic, operational and tactical levels of convoy operations. The services will be provided for the U.S. Army Transportation School and Non-Commissioned Officers Academy at Fort Lee, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990 (Size Standard: $7 million). The Government contemplates awarding of a firm fixed-price contract resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of an estimated 12 month base period with one 12 month option period for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS VOLUNTARY AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR INFORMATION REQUESTED NOR WILL IT COMPENSATE ANY RESPONDENT FOR ANY COST INCURRED IN DEVELOPING INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE GOVERNMENT. The Market Survey Questionnaire and PWS will be provided as attachements to this notice, and will be distributed solely through Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The response date for the market survey is May 7, 2010. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to Mission & Installation Contracting Command, 1830 Quartermaster Road, Bldg 7124, Fort Lee, VA 23801, Attn: Dewey Faniel, Contract Specialist. Questionnaire may also be faxed to (804) 734-4633 (Attn: Dewey Faniel).
