- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Quality Assurance Services for Hydraulic Steel Structures in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. See attached scope of work along with contract terms and conditions. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911WN10T0023 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The basis for award will be a lowest price/technical acceptable. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government considering price only. Postal service, fax or electronic responses are acceptable. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be April 30, 2010 at 10:00 am. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to receive a contract award.
