- Description
- The intent of this contract is to reconstruct and improve the Carey Creek boat landing and associated parking/recreation area located alongside of the Salmon River at MP 23.2 of Road 1614 (Salmon River Road). This project includes roadway excavation, backfilling, compacting, riprap, hauling, and placing aggregate surfacing, furnishing and installing a double vault toilet with timber change areas, constructing rigid (concrete) pavement, clearing and grubbing, minor concrete structures, boat ramp widening, and permanent traffic control. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. The project is located on the Payette National Forest but falls under the Jurisdiction of the Nez Perce National Forest, Salmon River Ranger District. The project is located in Section 3, T. 24 N., R 4 E., Idaho County, Idaho. Estimated price range for the project is $250,000 - $500,000. A bid bond is required. No faxed proposals will be accepted. Offerors must be certified HUBzone small businesses to be eligible for contract award. Solicitation was posted to FBO on 4/8/10. FBO notice was updated on 4/23/10 to reflect the response date shown on the solicitation.
