- RECOVERY - The Bureau of Land Management, Utah State Office has a requirement for Three (3) Botanical studies to be conducted. These Botanical Studies are for three species which either are or are on the list for candidacy for threatened or endangered species of plants. The three studies to be conducted are for the following: Astragalus anserinus, Pediocactus despainii, and Penstemon angustifolius var. dulcis. The studies shall inventory, map, and provide information on population, habitat, trends, threats to the species, and overall health and abundance. These studies shall be conducted under the NAICS code 541990. This is a preliminary notice, a full solicitation shall be released on or about April 15, 2010. Those parties interested in this requirement will need to be registered at FedConnect to receive information and updates regarding this requirement. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall register and download from FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net). Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
