- Lab Renovation Construction, for USDA-Forest Service, Northern Research Station, Forestry Sciences Laboratory, Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Renovation includes: Demolition of laboratory cabinetry, fume hoods, sewer, plumbing and electrical. Relocate electrical sub panels, floor drains, sewer lines and compressors; modify existing walls and door openings and existing ventilation equipment. And the removal of asbestos floor tile. Restore all interior finishes, new chemical resistant flooring; furnish and install new cabinetry, countertops, sinks and connections. This list is not all inclusive. Solicitation document AG-63PX-S-10-0003 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and be available for downloading on or about May 5, 2010 at website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective contractors are requested to self-register below to receive email notification of postings concerning this project. Other requests for solicitation should be submitted via facsimile at 651-649-5285 Attn: Acquisition Management, reference AG-63PX-S-10-0003. Telephone requests will not be honored. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING via facsimile number above. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) (www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA). This Contract is firm fixed-price and subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Set-Aside. Estimated price range: Less than $500,000. Estimated start work is mid-June and contract period of performance is 120 calendar days from effective date of Notice to Proceed. An organized prebid meeting/site visit will be scheduled in late May, information will be included in the solicitation.
