- Lake Red Rock is located in Marion County, Iowa, approximately four (4) miles southwest of Pella, Iowa. During the summer of 2008, the Marina Cove at Lake Red Rock suffered damages due to high water events. In an effort to repair damages from high water, and protect the marina, certain repairs to the cove are proposed. The project consists of excavation and/or mechanical dredging to widen and deepen the cove, construction of earthen terraces and grading of site, placement of excess fill to create temporary parking, access stub road, and shoreline stabilization construction. NAICS:237990 Small Business Size Standard: $33.5 Million Unrestricted Procurement Estimated Range: $1-$5 Million It is anticipated that the plans and specifications for this procurement will be available on www.fbo.gov on or about 15 May 2010. Any contractor wanting the plans and specifications must download them from this website.
