- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for EMC Bin File Maintenance for storage on the EMC DMX800 Storage Subsystem. The proposed vendor must be a reseller of The EMC DMX800 system or have previous knowledge of this system to correctly generate the BIN File maintenance for the EMC DMX800.Solicitation is prepared for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (g) and in the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is OPM04910-Q-0079, and is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-34. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430, and the small business size standard is 100 employees or less. The contractor shall provide fixed-prices. Quotations must be received by the Office of Personnel Management no later than 11:00 am eastern standard time on APRIL 23, 2010. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34. Place of Performance: U.S. Office of Personnel Management, 1900 E Streets NW, Room BH04, Washington DC 20415, Attention: Jim Marshall. Delivery shall be made no later than May 1, 2010. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the time the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or (269) 961-5757, or by accessing www.ccr.gov. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Contractor shall offer to the Government the same warranty commonly accepted in similar commercial purchases. Quotations in response to this RFQ are due by 11:00 am Eastern Standard Time, April 23, 2010. Only written requests for additional information will be accepted, and no later than April 21, 2010. Notification of any changes shall be made only on the internet. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to Merwin.charles@opm.gov.
