Description
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number LDQ002997. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541380 Testing Laboratories is 500 employees. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business Brand Name or equal items are acceptable for this procurement. If an equal item is proposed specs must be included with the quote to show that it is an equal item. Quotations MUST contain a complete description of item offered to clearly show item meets or exceeds all requirements listed in the Minimum Specifications. Quotation shall provide a point-by-point comparison to each item listed in the minimum specifications. A general overview, general comparison, or statement such as "able to provide the requirements" or "meets or exceeds minimum requirements" is unacceptable and will not be evaluated for potential acceptance Requested Items: Item# Description Manufacture Qty 1 XPERT 80 Radiography System KUBTEC 1 Mandatory Technical Requirements 1. Onsite Installation and Training Shipping Instructions: Shipping under this requirement shall be FOB destination. Items shall be delivered to Quantico, VA. Special Instructions 1. All vendors shall supply one sample of their proposed Radiography System for a 10-day evaluation period. 2. The vendor shall supply a user manual with the item. If the user manual does not include detailed technical specifications clearly showing that all minimum salient characteristics are met, the user shall submit a supplemental specification sheet for their product and a certification that all minimum salient characteristics are met. All Machine received will be tested, and as a result of these tests, will be grouped into two categories: "Legible or illegible in the ability to read a letter inside of an envelope with a letter font size of 12, 10, and 14. Sample Products shall be delivered to the below address NLT Wednesday May 26, 2010. Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ LDQ002997. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to Montarious Usher via email. Quotes shall include a point of contact (including phone number, fax number and email address), contractor DUN's number and TIN number. ALL QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 60 DAYS. Terms and Conditions: This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-38. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Nov 2007) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to montarious.usher@ic.fbi.gov. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror.
