- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Norfolk Contracting Department intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items for commercially available integrated, switched voice and data telecommunications support services for Naval Support Activity, Crane, IN. This procurement will be issued full and open competitive award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 517110 - Wire Telecommunications Carriers with a Size Standard of 1500 people. Solicitation N00189-10-T-0213 is for a base period with four additional one-year option periods along with FAR Clause 52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services. All options will be evaluated. The anticipated period of performance will start on 19 May 2010 and end on 18 May 2011. A complete RFQ package will be available for download on or about 23 April 2010. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil.
