- DESCRIPTION The McClellan Park Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses that can provide Pest Control/Management services required by the Northern California Health Care Systems (NCHCS) for the following Veterans Affairs Medical Centers located at Martinez, Mare Island, Oakland, Fairfield, Mather and McClellan Park, California. These sites are within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 21) of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Period of Performance is for a period of one (1) year to commence October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, with four (4) option years for renewal. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, parts, supervision, management and transportation necessary to perform an Integrated Pest Management Program (except mechanical or physical structure changes) that will meet the following objectives: (1) Maintain and promote safe, efficient and environmentally sound strategies, preventing or controlling disease vectors and other pest that may adversely affect health, impede operations or damage property; (2) Fully comply with all appropriate laws and regulations i.e. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Title 29 Code of Federal regulations (CFR) 1910.20, Access to employee exposure and medical records; 29 CFR 1910.132, Personal Protective Equipment; 29 CFR 1910.134, Respiratory Protection; 29CFR 1910.1200, Hazard Communication and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), involving pesticide use and other pest control procedures; (3) Incorporate Integrated Pest Management (IPM) philosophy and strategies into all relevant aspects of medical center pest management planning, training and operations in accordance with specifications, terms and conditions of the contract. The NAICS Code is 561710 and the size standard is $7.0 million.
