- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) seeks a contractor to restore bronze doors at the U.S. Supreme Court. The Contractor shall provide all replacement parts, hardware and labor required for a fully functional door system. The Government has determined that the hardware on the bronze interior vestibule, exterior swinging and sliding pocket doors have exceeded their normal life expectancy and are no longer functioning properly. It is imperative that these doors are refurbished and the existing hardware replaced with new compatible parts and the doors rehung properly before they become inoperable. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 10, 2010. The due date for receipt of proposals will be on or about June 10, 2010. The solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MONITOR THIS SITE FOR ALL CHANGES!! The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
