- ***RECOVERY ACT*** CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - 644-11-102, (Replace Drain/Water/Sewer - Phase 6, consisting of completely replacing the plumbing in E Wing - basement thru 4th floor with some minor roof work, - Bldg 1 at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix VA Healthcare System, Phoenix, AZ), Phoenix Arizona, intends to issue a solicitation requesting proposals to provide all work to in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings that will be provided at the time the Solicitation is issued. Performance Period is 180 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed. The complete specifications and drawings will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on FedBizOpps on or before April 26th, 2010. Interested parties are required to attend the site visit which will be conducted; Wednesday, April 28nd, 2010, 12:00 PM (NOON local time) and will meet at the: Department of Veterans Affairs 650 E Indian School Road ACC Basement NW/SW Quadrants Phoenix, AZ 85012. Information regarding the site visit will be indicated again in the solicitation when posted. All proposers/contractors are required to attend the site-visit in order to submit a Proposal on the project. There will only be ONE Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit for this project and the site visit is MANDATORY. Solicitation response due date/time will be advertised in the solicitation. Proposal submissions shall be electronic via the Vendor Portal. This project requires the proposers/contractors to secure bonding. All proposers shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/ in order to be eligible for award. This procurement is 100 percent set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB). This is under NAICS Code 236220, SB size is $33.5 MIL. Magnitude cost of construction is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 Solicitation should be issued on or before 26 April or sooner and will include all specifications and drawings.
