Description
Construct a pre-engineered metal building in the storage area on the south shore of the Snake River (Walla Walla County) downstream of the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam near the City of Pasco, Franklin County, Washington. General requirements: Construct a 140 foot by 80 foot pre-engineered metal building, consisting of two 60-foot by 80-foot concrete aprons on each side of the new building (along the short axis of the building). The eave height is 26 feet and the overall building height is 33 feet and 3 inches. The pre-engineered metal building system shall be provided by a single manufacturer and shall include all components and assemblies that form a complete building. The building shall have structural steel main building frames, and secondary framing including purlins and girts, engineered and fabricated by the building systems supplier. The building shall have vertical steel walls and a gable roof system including gutters and downspouts. The building shall consist of single-span or multiple-span structures with rigid frames in the transverse direction (with no interior columns within the clear span of the building). The building shall have two 20 feet by 20 feet and one 12 feet by 14 feet insulated sectional overhead doors, four exterior personnel doors and ten louvers (long axis four on each side--4 feet wide by 6 feet high-- and one on each short axis--4 feet wide by 4 feet high) shall be included with the metal building system. Exterior lighting protective bollards and security fencing (fifty feet away from the long axis of the building and from each concrete apron edge) with two 24 feet and two 12 foot vehicle gates shall be provided by the contractor. The requirement will include electrical power connecting into a local power source (PSP1) within Ice Harbor Lock & Dam Project boundary through a switch gear. The power lines and communication lines will be brought to the new building via a trenched and buried conduit with pull boxes. The contractor shall provide a concrete utility vault (6 feet wide by 4 feet deep by 5 feet and 6 inches high) for power and communication lines. Primary power 480 volts/3-ph from PSP1 to the building interior panel box service then to interior transformer. Interior electrical items: Enclosure - COMM. NEMA 12, 2 feet wide by 3 feet high by 10 inches deep; Panel box Service 480 V / 3-Ph, 400 A; Interior transformer 75 KVA, 480, 3-Ph primary - 208/120 V, 3-Ph secondary; Panel box Branch 280 / 120 V / 3-Ph / 4 W / 200 A.
