- RFQ SOW The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)'s Office of External Affairs will host a two-day conference in the Washington, DC Metro area designed to bring together federal, state and local emergency management communicators. The main purpose of this conference is to continue to work together on goal-oriented activities that will enhance External Affairs/Emergency Support Function 15 support and operations related to emergency preparedness and response. We will focus on new communications strategies within External Affairs partners, continue building relationships between communicators at the federal, state and local level, discuss best practices and lessons learned and review new changes in policy. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested Vendors may submit questions via email to Trina Bouknight at Trina.Bouknight@dhs.gov until 1:00PM EST Tuesday April 27, 2010. Quotations are due Wednesday April 28, 2010 by 1:00PM EST. This deadline will not be extended.
