- SYNOPSIS: PROJECT TITLE: CONFERENCE ROOM - FILE ROOM MINOR RENOVATIONS, ADMINISTRATION BUILDING #262 - SECOND FLOOR, U.S. COAST GUARD TRAINING CENTER, CAPE MAY, NEW JERSEY SCOPE: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, services, and supervision necessary for minor renovations of the conference room - file room located in the Administration Building, Building #262 - Second Floor, USCG Training Center, Cape May (Cape May county), New Jersey. The work required consists of installing/relocating two doors off of main corridor. In general the contractor shall provide all labor and material required to: - Salvage ceramic tile for patch work around new door opening; - Create a new opening in an existing 8" Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU), ceramic tile partition; - Furnish one new CMU metal door frame and reverse door swing on one existing metal door frame; - Salvage and relocate two existing 36" wood doors; - Paint, patch and otherwise restore the area impacted by the project to match existing conditions. -Supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. All work shall be performed in accordance with the USCG specifications, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation document files become available for public download on or after 5 MAY 2010 exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If it does not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 26 MAY 2010. These dates are estimated and may change. NOTE: NO TELEPHONE, FACSIMILE, E-MAIL AND/OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the FedBizOpps website to be notified when information on this project becomes available. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely to the FedBizOpps website.
