Description
The Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality ContractingCenter, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the US Army ARDEC, is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for an immediate requirement to procure a basic quantity of 400 STINGER M934E6 Fuzes to support a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case. Additional future FMS options for a possible total quantity of approximately 400-1000 fuzes. The M934E6 Fuze is a complex electromechanical assembly integrating hybrid microelectronics, advanced inertial and centrifugal components and electro-explosive devices into a single fuze package. The M934E6 Fuze must interface with the M258E6 Warhead Section and missile guidance section and flight motor. The M934E6 Fuzes are to be manufactured and first article and Lot Acceptance tested in accordance with Technical Data Package 9297066, Titled: Fuze, Guided Missile, M934E6. The period of performance for the award will be 7 months to provide First Article samples and 9 months for initial lot delivery. Potential candidates must have production line manufacturing tooling, inspection fixtures, automated computer controlled in-process assembly and Lot Acceptance Test equipment stations, technical knowledge and expertise required to fulfill this requirement within the necessary delivery timeframe. Potential candidates shall provide a summary of their companys capabilities including organizations, name/address/point of contact identification, a description of facilities/equipment, manufacturing process, inspection capability, personnel, past experience as a missile fuze producer, proven monthly production capacity, possible partnering/teaming arrangements, and whether the company is a small or large business. Potential candidates must submit their responses no later than 5 May 2010 to Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, Close Combat Systems Contracting Center AMSCC-CCJM-CC, ATTN: Anthony Mauriello (973-724-7439), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, 07806-5000 or email to anthony.mauriello@us.army.mil.
