- Description
- NASA/Headquarters intends to issue a sole source procurement for the continuationof Commerce Clearing House Incorporated TeamMate licenses and software maintenanceservices. The proposed period of performance is a 1 year base. The authority is FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) 'only one responsible source' When the supplies orservices required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or, forDoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources,and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and opencompetition need no be provided for.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing, by FAX or E-Mail, to the identified point of contact not later than12:30 p.m. local time on April 26, 2010. Such capabilities/ qualifications will beevaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct thisprocurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete thisproposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to thisnotice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
