Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or presolicitation and this notice does not guarantee that a solicitation will be posted in the future. This information is being submitted for the purpose of seeking sources only. TITLE: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Fort Polk, LA is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide 14 used vehicles for support of the Joint Readiness Training Centers Mission at Fort Polk, LA. Delivery of the vehicles would be FOB destination to Fort Polk and include any and all applicable fees and charges. A joint technical inspection will be conducted prior to acceptance of any proposed vehicles. Desired delivery to be completed within 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). REQUIREMENT: The following description is a summary of the required product specifications: The requirement consists of 10 used Trucks and 4 used Sports Utility Vehicles for use by the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, LA. All supplied vehicles must be 4X4, model years of 2005 to 2009, made by Chevy, Dodge, Ford, or GMC and have less than 50,000 miles on each vehicle. The Trucks must have extended Cabs able to fit extra personnel. This RFI is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The information requested will be used within the Fort Polk Contracting Office to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Please note that the United States Army nor the Fort Polks MICC are responsible for any costs incurred by respondents to this request for information. This RFI shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and is provided at no cost to the Government. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately. Request interested parties submit a capability package to include the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact and their telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Small Business declaration statement (if applicable) as defined by the Small Business Administration indicating any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.). (3) Central Contractor Registration (www.bpn.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (orca.bpn.gov) proof of registration or statement of intent to register. (4) Indicate if your company primarily does business in the commercial or Government sector. (5) Please describe any commercial-sector or government contracts you have performed for similar goods, supplies or services, within the most recent 3 year period. (6) Indicate under which North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code(s) your company usually performs government contracts. (7) Please indicate whether the items sought are available under a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) (Include Schedule nor) or a GSA Schedule (Include GSA schedule number). (8) If the desired delivery time cannot be met, state your proposed delivery schedule After Receipt of Order? RESPONSE TIME: All interested parties should email responses to this RFI no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 28 April 2010. SMALL BUSINESS (SB) SET-ASIDE DETERMINATION: The Government reserves the right to decide whether or not a SB set-aside is appropriate for any acquisition based on responses to this notice. In order for the Government to make a SB set-aside determination, SB concerns must provide sufficient written information to indicate the capability to successfully perform and manage the requirement of this magnitude.
