Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Surgical Oncology Service Department has a requirement for one Medtronic Nerve Integrity Monitoring (NIM) System. The Equipment must meet the following specifications:8253001-NIM-Response 3.0 Mainframe 8253200-NIM-Response 3.0 Patient Interface 8253600-Universal Patient Simulator 8220325-NIM Muting Probe 1897821-Power Cord, 6 meter 8253020-NIM 3.0 System Cart Be able to perform the following: oMonitoring during bipolar cautery oStim Bur capability, combining electric drill with stimulation* oArtifact detection software to help eliminate noise oIncrementing Probe capability that allows surgeon to adjust stimulus levels Easier to use, redesigned software with three simple environments: Setup, Monitoring, and Reports Reports Wizard easily documents patient's EMG activity Provides 4 to 8 channels for monitoring This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for a Market Research ONLY to determine the availability of potential vendors for a potential acquisition. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought. NO SOLICITATION ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation. Potential vendors who can provide this equipment and meet the specifications, are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Eugene Hanley at Eugene.hanley@va.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. A determination not to compete this proposed Purchase Order will based upon responses received will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All information shall be furnished at a no cost or obligation to the Government. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 423450 with a standard size of employees 100.
