- This purpose of this contract is for road assessments (also known as road review surveys) to provide road management recommendations on roads proposed for closure or decommission to augment the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Engineering staff. The recommendations will include a list of physical activities needed to implement treatment of each road or road segment. Work includes written survey reports and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions including furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. Field surveys will be completed as needed to develop recommendations. The result of this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a minimum guarantee of $10,000 with a maximum not to exceed $99,000. Two separate locations have being identified for this Solicitation. Suiattle River Road Survey will be completed by June 15th, 2010 (Approximately 49.2 Miles). Work for the South Fork Skykomish River will be completed by July 15th 2010 (Approximately 21 Miles). Contractors can bid on both locations only if they can complete both work on time, otherwise two separate contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. Additional survey work may be identified through Work Orders for each contract. The effective period of the contract will be from date of award through December 31, 2010.
