- This is a pre-solicitation notice. This will be a one (1) year sole-source action for the removal and replacement of 26 each Aft Crown Skins on one (1) C-5 aircraft and one (1) option aircraft (total of 52 skins) and to develop a complete technical data package for possible future competitive acquisitions should a follow-on program be funded. Since the data is proprietary, this is a sole source acquisition to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics with the place of performance in Marietta, GA. Predominant material of manufacturing is Aluminum 7475-T761, Part Number: 4F42000, 4F42051, 4F22033 and 4F22034. Max dimensions for the panels are 80" x 210" FOB: Destination, Proposed Solicitation Number: FA8525-10-R-21913 and anticipated closing response date is 23 Jun 2010, NAICS Code: 336413.
