- Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida intends to solicit competitive proposals for the following efforts: (1) Fabrication, assembly and testing of Safety Devices Mk 52 Mod 0. The safety devices are to be shipped to the designated Navy loading plant for assembly into Safety-Arming Devices Mk 75 Mod 1. (2) Fabricate and assemble non-explosive subassemblies for Arming Devices Mk 35 Mod 1. The non-explosive subassemblies are to be shipped to the designated Navy loading plant for installation of explosives. (3) Fabricate, assemble and test Practice Arming Devices Mk 41 Mod 0, and (4) fabricate, assemble and test Practice Safety-Arming Devices Mk 81 Mod 0 (inert loaded). NOTE: THE REQUIRED EFFORTS DO NOT INVOLVE FABRICATING OR HANDLING EXPLOSIVE DEVICES. The period of performance(s), delivery time(s) and delivery location(s) will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation.
